Seaglass Cottage is a cosy one-bedroom ground-floor space. The cottage includes a living room/diner, kitchen and bedroom. A large comfy sofa, fireplace and flat-screen TV make this the perfect spot to snuggle up with your loved one after a day of exploration.
The kitchen has been recently renovated and is fully equipped for self-catering stays.
The bedroom features a king-size bed with sumptuous bedding and an ensuite bathroom, which has also been renovated.
The cottage has a courtyard for the exclusive use of Seaglass guests. The courtyard has a private lockable storage for any sporting equipment you may have and also comfortable seating to relax in after your fun filled days.
We endeavour to clean this cottage to a very high standard; we ask that you take care to treat the cottage and its furniture with respect and inform us immediately if you are dissatisfied or experience any breakages. For your protection extra care is given to cleaning we use antibacterial mist on soft furnishings, as well as bleach products for general cleaning, we pay particular attention to remotes, key safes and handles, etc.
The main bins are located at the front of the property. Please empty your rubbish into the relevant wheelie bins during your stay and on departure.
Please be respectful of the other properties on the site and their guests. Please keep noise to a minimum, particularly in the evening.
You will find spare batteries & lightbulbs in the living room sideboard.
The courtyard is a private space for the guests of Seaglass Cottage. There is an outdoor table and chair set for your private use, please return the cushions to the shed when not being used.
Unfortunately, our lease prohibits pets in the property.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the whole cottage, please respect this.
When you arrive at the property you can pull on to the pavement for loading and unloading your bags. The driveway is for the guests of the property next door. There is generally street parking available on the streets around the cottage but just make sure you read all posted signs as our traffic wardens are extra keen! You will find a parking disc for your use while staying with us and can be used to park in disc zones. Again, please read posted signs as most of them are for a max of three hours but in town centre there are some with 1 hour and some with 45 minutes. You can park overnight in these areas after 7pm until 9am in the morning. If you cannot find street parking there is ample parking available at the Marina Car Park which is locate on Langbour Road opposite the Co-op.
The cottage has complimentary full fibre broadband
TThe heating can be controlled through the thermostat in the bedroom. We kindly ask that you lower or turn off the heating when you are out and off when you check out of the property.
There is an electric shower. There is a switch on the wall outside the shower which must be turned on.
The key safe will have the same code for the duration of your stay, so if you wish to leave your keys in there when going out for the day, place them in the safe, shut the door and scramble the code. On returning place the code you used to enter the property originally into the key safe and access your keys. On leaving the property at the end of your stay, please leave the keys in the safe, once you have locked the cottage. Close the safe and scramble the code.
Please ensure you empty the fridge before departure.
The fire in the lounge is electric and can be used for fire effect only should the gas central heating be on. Please ensure the fire is turned off when you are not on the property.
